The Board of Directors have revealed further details about their decision to withdraw the League from the British American Football Association. Among other things, it outlines the new registration process which will come into use this season.

After due consideration and unanimous agreement of the BAFL Board of Directors, Gridiron Football League Limited (trading as the British American Football League (BAFL)) has withdrawn the BAFL from the National Governing Body (NGB) – the British American Football Association (BAFA) – citing the consistent poor delivery of business critical services as its primary reason.

xpLosION kicks off new BUAFL season

The Birmingham Lions once again start the BUAFL season with a bang, as they entertain University rivals, Loughborough, for one of the biggest fixtures in the British American Football calendar. Now in its fourth year, 'xpLosION' has become the annual kick-off event of the British Universities American Football League, and has drawn crowds of over 3,000 people in it's short history.
