Snow forces scheduling meeting cancellation
Heavy snow fall on Tuesday morning has prompted the Board to postpone the Fixture Scheduling meeting set for this Saturday at the Keepmoat Stadium.
With the forecast towards the weekend promising more snow, it was an easy decision to make.
"For the scheduling meeting to work, we need every team to be in attendance", commented Operations Director, Mark Blyth. "Common sense would tell us that given the forecast, a lot of people are going to struggle to attend so we've decided to rearrange the meeting. If it inconveniences anyone then we can only apologise", he added.
The meeting will now take place on
Saturday 30th January,
the next available Saturday when Doncaster Rovers are not at home. It will start at
11am
and will take place in the
Lakeside Suite
situated in the
West Stand.
The preceeding EGM scheduled for the same day will now also take place on the 30th prior to all scheduling matters.
