Rebels at the double.

Thanks to a great combined team effort, the Rebels were able to secure two more victories on a sunny summer’s day in beautiful Kent.

In the first game against the South Wales Warriors, defensive captain Matt Fronczke and the Rebels “D” set the tone, allowing just 14 points on the day.

After scoring the game's first touchdown on a long run after catch, Calvin Tarlton, forced into emergency action on defence due to injuries, returned two interceptions for touchdowns. Excellent play from El Suliman and Michael Walker helped seal the 39-14 victory against the South Wales Warriors.

In the second game against Kent, the Rebels started out quickly, scoring 28 points in the first half before being stymied in the second. Once again, the Rebels defence held fast, holding on to their second shutout of the season.

With three games left to play, the Rebels remain in control of their own destiny, but need to win all three to secure a playoff berth.

The Rebels will host an end of season tournament with South Wales, Hampshire, St. Albans, and Leicester all in attendance.  The Rebels invite any spectators to come down to watch the season finale unfold itself and reveal the post season participants for the 2009 BAFL Adult Flag Season!
