Busy Start for Jets Flag Academy

 

The newly named Coventry Flag Academy, now known as the Jets, has had a busy start to 2010. The cadets were recently defeated in an offensive shootout, falling 40-20 at the hands of the reigning National Champions, the Studley Bearcats, while the youth and junior teams combined for a lopsided defeat against Bristol based academy side, the Filton College Pride.

Flag Tournament 1-Woodham

Tournament 1 in Woodham saw some great football played by the stars of tomorrow. The 2008 champions in each age group carried on their winning ways by triumphing in their respective age groups, with Woodham Warriors winning the Youth and Junior competitions and Coventry Bears taking the Cadet crown

New era for the Tomahawks

The Sheffield Tomahawks began their preparations for 2009 season last Sunday at a new venue with a completely new coaching staff.  Paul Leger founder and former Head Coach of the Tomahawks moved to Arizona last month with his wife Dorothy and this left a huge gap to fill for the Tomahawks.
