Romans look to stay unbeaten
The Chester Romans are looking to
extend their undefeated start to the season this Sunday, 7th June, when they
entertain Glasgow Tigers at Chester Rugby Club, Hare lane, Littleton. The game
kicks off at 14:30 and admission is free on the day with seating available in
the stands.
After an abysmal season last year the
Romans have so far won 57-0 in Inverness, drew at Lancashire Wolverines after
twice taking the lead only to see the home side peg them back twice, Then beat
Hull Hornets 12-0 in their opening home game of the season a couple of weeks
ago. The Romans have been working hard in training and hope to beat Glasgow in
what should be a hard fought battle between the two teams. The games so far
have been very entertaining and the club invite anyone with an interest in the
sport to come down on the day and enjoy the game and atmosphere.
