Bombers gear up for 2009

After a restructure of the club committee and a move back, from Cranwell, to Lincoln the Lincolnshire Bombers return to training on Sunday 9th November at the West Common, Carholme Road in Lincoln between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

Following this session the Bombers will hold a rookie day on 16th November, again at the West Common, all new recruits and potential players are welcome. The day will consist of a series of drills and exercises designed to test all players, new and veteran, to assess their fitness and potential.

Anyone wishing to attend either of these sessions, or wanting more information about the team, should contact Iain Bushell on 07837 183667 or Jez Brown on 07990 550640 or e-mail the team at
lincolnshirebombers@bafl.org.uk

The Bombers are extremely pleased to announce that Head Coach Mark Crossley will be continuing in post this season as we look to make our third season in the league the best to date. Coach Crossley will also be assisted by Coach Ian Askew, who recently retired from playing the game having played for Lincolnshire and Nottingham, and Coach Tony Hughes who has been involved with American football in Lincolnshire since the late 80's.

The Bombers are also happy to hear from anyone interested in assisting the team with support and coaching roles, all ages and experiences are welcome and we look forward to hearing from you.
