The
Norwich Devils start their 2009 league campaign this Sunday with a home game against the London Cobras. The Cobras, who start the season as favourites
to win the division, will provide a tough test for the Devils.
The
Devils have retained their status in BAFL 1 of the British American Football League despite managing only one win and a tie in their ten
game regular season last year, but hope to improve on that in the coming season.
However, they have again had to do a lot of rebuilding during the close season
with quite a number of experienced players not back for 2009.
The Devils will again be playing all their home games at the Hewitt School in Norwich, and the match kicks off at 2.30pm.
