The Hampshire Thrashers are looking to compile a stunning array of coaches as the team looks to make giant strides in it’s fourth season in the BAFL. The Thrashers are please to announce the exciting appointments of Coach Rick Kranz and Player/Coach Toran Williams to its ranks.

Coach Kranz, a native of Las Vegas, brings a wealth of experience to the BAFL after both playing and coaching in various leagues across the United States. Starting his professional career as a quarterback he led some potent offenses in the now defunct SFL. His first coaching experience arrived sooner than expected due to injury, but he was quick to learn and within a few seasons progressed from both offensive and defensive coordinator to Head Coach. Coach Kranz is looking forward to sharing his knowledge with the Thrashers and will be joined in this task with a number of compatriots to be announced in the coming weeks.

In three years of playing American Football Toran Williams has amassed an impressive resume. Initially a youth and then senior player with Bristol Aztecs the free safety has been involved with the GB youth and senior team and received an invitation to the NFLE development program. This was then followed up when he was recruited to South Minnesota State University to play for the NCAA division 2 college.

Toran is now focusing on using his significant amount of knowledge and experience, gained working under a plethora of coaches and players from both the UK and the US, to coach the Thrashers defensive backfield for the coming season. Building on last years success of a ball hawking unit that in some encounters caught more passes than the receivers they were defending is his key goal as well as getting back onto the field himself.
