On a recent visit the Billerica people met Spartans manager Tony Palmer where they exchanged game shirts and Palmer presented the Billerica people with Spartans tee shirts. Coach Flynn of the Indians has contacted Tony and told him how he looks forward to working on both programmes with the Spartans coach Dave Barham. Tony said, “This is a exciting thing for the club as the Indians play their season in the winter months and with us playing in the summer the possibilities of coaches and players coming over in the future look good. The people of Billerica have already said they look forward to the visit of Spartans players and staff in the future.”
