The Essex Spartans are now requesting applications from
coaches who would like to apply for the Head Coach position, to take into the
new season and beyond.
The vacancy occurs due to the current coach Dave Barham’s
belief that he brought the club as far as he could last season and that a more
qualified and experienced coach is required for next year. Dave will not be
departing the club he will be dedicating more time to the youth team, which he
has nurtured over the last two years. He will assist the successful applicant
settle in and update player profiles.
The successful applicant would be able to install a
programme in readiness for the 2008 season and devise a play book to his and
the teams strengths. For a club of its size the Spartans are well equipped and
play at an excellent facility in Billericay in Essex. The person taking the
position could, if wanted, bring in coaches to assist him as well as utilise
the coaching staff presently at the club.

later than the 1st of December 2007. This position would appeal to
coaches who are currently co coordinators or experienced coaches wanting a shot
at running there own programme.
