Spartans announce player trials
In preparation for the 2009 BAFL season the Essex
Spartans will be holding open player trials, for rookies and experienced
players, on the 16th and 23rd of November.
These trials will be staged at the Spartans home ground
of Hannikans Farm in Billericay, and will commence at 12:00pm, as the sessions
will be held on astro turf suitable footwear is required. These sessions will
be taken by Dean Gibson who after 2 years away has taken over again as Head
Coach of the Essex club. If any further information is required it can be found

Apart from playing staff the club is also interested in
attracting non players to bolster the off field staff. So if you would like to
be part of the Spartans as a volunteer in such roles as team judge, field crew
