The East Kent Mavericks defensive coordinator Jason Pearson is jetting off to Hofstra University for a four day visit with their coaching staff. Jason set up the visit through his former Medway Mustang Head Coach Mickey Kwiatkowski – a former head coach at Hofstra. Following a discussion between the two Hofstra coaches Jason was invited by the current Head Coach Dave Cohen to join him at their Hempstead training facility. The visit will afford Jason the opportunity to experience an elite coaching environment, as well as develop his technical understanding of the game of football
Jason said, “This is an
opportunity that does not come along very often. This is a wonderful chance for
me to enhance my coaching knowledge of the game of football, to really do the
little things well ”.
The East Kent Mavericks would like to extend their appreciation to the Hofstra coaching staff, past and present for their support in the run up to the Kent sides season. The Mavericks are honoured, and proud to have such a prestigious link to an organisation like Hofstra.
