Coventry 's American Football Academy has opened the door to closer links with perennial Britbowl title contenders the Jets by changing their name from the Bears to adopt the kitted team’s moniker.

Coventry Jets have announced that their on field preparations will begin on Sunday the 31st of January with their annual rookie induction day at the Alan Higgs Centre.

Jets Light Up Christmas

The Coventry Jets helped light up Christmas as they switched on the lights at the local TGI Fridays before making an appearance in the City Centre to help Beverly Knight get Coventry into the Christmas spirit.

Jets Announce Youth Coaching Line-Up

 

Adam Biggs has unveiled his coaching staff amid the build up to the Coventry Jets inaugural open day. The event, to be held at the Alan Higgs Centre on Sunday the 13th of December, is designed to bring rookie recruits into the sport as well as being a chance for last season’s junior (14-16 year old) squad to meet their new coaches as they step up to youth level (16-19 year old).

Yardes Ahead

 

Success reigned at the Coventry American Football Academy Awards Night on the 20^th November with young starlet Hannah Russell-Yarde scooping the Coaches Award amongst a shed-load of other winners of various different awards. All of the players received their medals and certificates for winning the English Conference Championship.
