This Sunday the Cambridgeshire Cats take the trip up the A11 to visit the undefeated Norwich Devils as the BAFL 2 South East heavyweights lock horns once again. A last minute mistake by the Cats handed Norwich a narrow 6-7 victory back in an un-comfortable May for the Cats whose loss the following week to the East Midlands Saxons means Norwich will retain top spot should the Cats win.
Fox looks to surpass the thousand yard barrier at the expense of the Devils.

Quarterback Martin Brown looks to further his four game unbeaten record and
will be keen to get back on track after being unable to record a passing
touchdown against East Kent this past weekend, having previously averaged three
touchdowns per game in his first three starts.
The Cats just edge the all-time rivalry against Norwich,
with 7 wins to 6 losses and a tie, however they have only ever lost once on the
fourth weekend in July, a 1988 road trip to the Glasgow Diamonds. The Cats have
also outscored their East-Anglia opponents 258-193 in their eleven previous
meetings. Coach Bice is all too aware of the history between the organisations,
especially during his own tenure with the Cats: “Since I have been here, we
have not had a victory over our northern rivals, but the games between the two
of us have been exciting. We know that Norwich will not lay down in this game,
as they want home field advantage for the play offs. However, we have
eliminated a lot of the mistakes that have haunted us in close games and we
will be heading to Norwich with the intent of paying them back for the loss we
endured at our field!”
