Sunday 20th April 2008 sees the return of
American Football to Cambridgeshire, and the schedulers could not have chosen a
better game than the Cambs derby, as the Cambridgeshire Cats host the
Peterborough Saxons in the first British American Football League Division 2
fixture of the 2008 season.

The teams have met on 5 previous occasions, with the
Cats undefeated up until a narrow 6-0 defeat last year in torrential conditions
in Peterborough. Both teams will be keen to stamp their authority in the newly
formed BAFL 2 East, as both are tipped for title honours having shared
identical 7-3 records in their respective conferences in 2007. Both teams faced
long journeys in the play offs last season, Saxons to Dundee and the Cats to
South Wales, with neither team able to return to England victorious. What will
separate these neighbours in 2008? Find out this Sunday, 20 April, at 14:30 on
Cats Field, Coldhams Common Cambridge.
