The Cambridgeshire Cats are delighted to announce the signing of stand out defensive end, Paul Clayborn. Clayborn played last year with the Kent Exiles and terrorized opponents in Division 1A South and in the playoffs. Commitments abroad have delayed his return to Britball, but the American is keen to play in BAFL2 South East having signed for The Cats.
Cats Head Coach Rick Bice is delighted to have captured the player: “Coach Gray and I are very happy to have Paul sign for us as we head in to the latter part of our season. I was fortunate enough to see him play with Kent last year and his speed and natural football abilities impressed me. I am sure he will help us toward our post season goals and look forward to seeing him in Cats colors!”
The Cats defense, which has only surrendered 7 points in 16 quarters, will be even more of a force with this quality addition to the team.
