Cardinals owner visits team

This past week saw the first visit of the Cardinals' new owner since negotiations were successfully completed in January. Since that time, ex NFL star, and current Sky Sports pundit Ian Allen has been working tirelessly in the US to ensure recognition and secure support for his new team in the UK for the next couple of years.

Sky Sports pundit, and former NFL lineman Ian Allen has taken the massive, and unprecedented step of becoming the new owner of the Ipswich Cardinals.
From the start of 2008, Allen has been in negotiation with the Cardinal organisation, and all parties are now happy to confirm the appointment of the former New York Giant, Philadelphia Eagle, and Arizona Cardinal right tackle.
