Bulls hold third try out day this Sunday

The Bulls will be holding the third of their scheduled tryout sessions this Sunday 23rd November at the Birmingham City University Pavilion sports ground, Moor Lane, Birmingham. The previous session was a big success with over forty rookies attending the camp and more are expected this week. “It is a fantastic start to our recruitment for the 2009 season but we can’t afford to take our foot off the pedal” warned Dave Cottrell, who is helping to organise the recruitment drive at the Bulls. “Our goal is to field junior and youth teams along with the seniors for the 2009 season and for this we have lots of playing and coaching positions still to fill”.

“This is not the end of the recruitment campaign; we will still accept new players into the club all year round, so I don’t want people to feel they have missed their opportunity if they could not make the camps. We will be holding further rookie tryout sessions in the near future, so watch this space for details.”

If you are interested in trying out for the Birmingham Bulls and are 14+ years old why not come along and have a go. Registration will be at 12:15 p.m. as before and players are required to be on the field ready to go at 1:00 p.m. The session will finish at 4:00 p.m. If you are trying out you are reminded to bring football boots, socks, sweat pants and a tee shirt, all other playing equipment can be loaned to you.
